Teaching Experience

At Legacy Debate Camp, we pride ourselves on having a very experience staff with a diverse set of backgrounds and knowledge bases. Five of our staff members have been coaching for at least two years, with several staff members having coached at educational institutions. All of our staff will have prior teaching experience at other camps and will undergo initial teaching training prior to the beginning of the camp session. 

We do not currently have a strict number and we will try to accommodate as many student as possible. However, because this is our first year, we advise you sign up as soon as you make the decision to attend camp because we are unsure how many additional staff members we will be hiring past a certain number. 

We offer scholarships based on particular financial circumstances. If this applies to you, you should indicate this on your application, and if you have any additional special needs feel free to contact us through our email. 

Every staff member will participate in a required state approved sexual assault training program and have been run through a national background check service. In addition, we will be working diligently to ensure students have a staff member to confide in regarding any claims of harassment, assault, or other issues through our advisor program. 

Yes. Legacy Debate is a registered LLC in the state of Florida.
